KNOW OUR EXCLUSIVE INTERPRETIVE GUIDES

Communication between a healthcare professional and their patient is a key element in the clinical process and it’s necessary for doctors and the available systems to support this process. The patient depends directly on the information provided by a doctor, both to know the possible treatment method as well as for personal peace of mind. In many cases the information about their medical results is very technical and complex with little time to give a proper explanation, therefore comprehension is limited.

To make doctor's and patient's lives easier, we at Pulse Wave Technologies have developed our new and exclusive 2016 DPA interpretive Guides which give a carefully structured summary that allows the clear and precise explanation of each of the results from the DPA tests.

Pulse Wave Technologies is a company that’s part of the contemporary technological revolution, bringing tools that actively support the development of modern medical practices.

Interpretive Guide Tips

One little-known feature of the interpretive guides is that you can duplicate your file (either PTG or HRV) and have one per-patient so that all of their info is already filled in to more easily generate new guides based on their latest test results. This will save you time when filling in data. There is no limit on the number of files you can duplicate and you can rename them without any problems.

You can test this out with the trial versions, though you'll need to set it up again if you purchase the full version of our guides as that will be a separate file with your practice's logo.

The screenshots below are from our previous version, the 2015 Interpretive Guides which you can still purchase.

HEART RATE VARIABILITY (HRV)

HRV is the changing lapse of time between heartbeats; its reading can provide information like overall physiological functionality, autonomic regulatory system status and the stress level of the body.

Using the same data, it is possible to detect a number of physiological irregularities that show over the alteration of a good HRV, like: autonomic nervous system dysfunctions, cardiac disease, connective tissue disorders, asthma, hypertension and diabetes, among other disorders.

  • Time Domain Analysis
  • Frequency Domain Analysis
  • Heart rate Variability
  • HR Histogram, HR Distribution
  • ABD – Automatic Balance Diagram
  • PSD – Power Spectral Density Graph
  • Nervous System Balance Diagram

When depending on diagnostic tools, the DPA is a reliable device for the detection of physiological anomalies in real-time without the need of specialists. With its assessment of arterial compliance and the autonomic nervous system, the DPA has the capability of executing a detailed range of tests, offering the possibility of running its procedures without incurring any extra cost or unnecessary waiting time, and with the current technological tendency to develop non-invasive methods, the DPA ensures an important medium for modern, easy and painless clinical diagnosis.

REPORTS

The Meridian DPA provide 2 reports either in color via a computer's printer or black and white printout through its internal thermal paper tray without the use of a Computer. The latter application is useful for quickly rechecking a patient’s PWA results or for demonstrating a clinic's services at a Health Fair or Event.

The two DPA reports are:

  • Pulse Wave Analysis Report (Practitioner's Copy)
  • Heart Rate Variability Report (Practitioner's Copy)

You also get our two exclusive color interpretive guides (Excel or PDF templates) with the patient's results including explanations & color diagrams to make it easy to understand their results.

Pulse Wave Analysis Report provides data on:

  • Heart rate
  • Artery flexibility
  • Left Ventricle Ejection Level
  • Hydration levels
  • Peripheral Circulatory Disturbance
  • Overall cardiovascular health

The Heart Rate Variability (HRV) report provides data on:

  • Patient Info / Diagnosis.
  • Analysis Data (Time and Frequency Domain).
  • Nervous System - SNS and PNS Balance.
  • Analysis with Diagrams - HRV, Histogram, Frequency Components, Ratio, ABD, HR Distribution, PSD, Peripheral Circulatory Disturbance.
